The main purpose of the Nueces County A&M Club is to establish, maintain and support scholarship programs for needy and worthy students graduating from a Nueces County high school admitted to or enrolled at Texas A&M University-College Station.
The Club’s program is coordinated with the Student Financial Aid Dept. at Texas A&M University – College Station. The ApplyTexas application, of all students who identify Nueces as their home county, will be forwarded to the Club’s Scholarship Chair once the student has been accepted to TAMU (Approximately 150 students from Nueces County enroll at TAMU each fall). The Club’s Scholarship Committee will review the applications in the February/March timeframe and will offer 2-4 scholarships valuing between $2,000 – $5,000 to the most qualified students. Applicants may also qualify for over 600 additional scholarships through the Opportunity Awards program. Please visit https://scholarships.tamu.edu/ for more information and please feel free to contact Leo Juarez ’11 at email@example.com OR 361-726-1081 if you have any additional questions.
