Howdy Ags, it’s time once again for the Annual Awards Banquet and Dinner. I am proud to announce that our speaker this year will be W. Miles Marks ’79, President and CEO of the 12th Man Foundation. It is a real honor for us to have Miles come and speak to us. The 12th Man Foundation raises funds for scholarships for student-athletes and helps Texas A&M in its athletic marketing and facility efforts. Marks is a second generation Aggie and has been leading the Foundation since 1997. He also serves on numerous campus committees and campus task forces including the Develop Strategy Council for coordination of all campus fundraising and the Vision 2020 Task Force for Athletics.
Texas A&M is going through many historical changes and W. Miles Marks is ready to answer any questions pertaining to Aggie Athletics including such topics as Kyle Field renovation plans, coach and staffing developments and the SEC conference move.
Our new officers and board members will be installed at our annual banquet and our Aggie of the Year and Aggie Company of the Year awards will also be announced. Who will they be this year? Dinner will be Chicken Carbonara with a cash bar available. Tickets are now $45 each. Please come out to this year’s banquet to help welcome W. Miles Marks to the Coastal Bend!
